August Meeting Update

I am sorry for the delay, but I wanted to update everyone. We initially had a meeting planned and scheduled for tonight. However, many pharmaceutical companies have implemented new policies after some recent legislative changes* that they have to get things on their books 60-90 days in advance. Our Rep was hoping that because he did the initial request several months ago it, unfortunately not. I made many calls and attempts for non-pharmaceutical reps and was unsuccessful. I should have confirmation for Septembers meeting tomorrow. 

* It is related to the proportion of funds that pharmaceutical companies are spending on speaker programs verses research and rebate options for patients.

If you have drug reps that are interested in sponsoring, please, feel free give them my number to call or text me (Monica Edenfield 706-631-9546).  If you ever encounter a non-pharmaceutical company such as hospice or other services that would be interested in sponsoring a program, please also share my number with them.
