APRN Education Scholarship

Scholarship available in the amount ranging from $500 to $1000.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for candidacy.

• Be a current member of the Augusta Chapter UAPRN in good standing
• Be enrolled in at least 6 graduate or post-graduate semester hours in a Master of Science, Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Philosophy, or post-Master’s Certificate program (May be seeking certification in one of the following programs: Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse Anesthetists, or Clinical Nurse Specialist.)
• Must hold an active compact or GA Registered Nurse license
• Reside in the CSRA
• Must submit the scholarship application before the designated submission deadline date of October 20, 2022 5pm ET (Awards will be announced at the Fall Gala.)
• Grant UAPRN the right to publish a picture and biography or other application-related information if awarded the Scholarship
• Must submit a complete curriculum vitae (CV) or resume with the scholarship application (The CV or resume should include work experience, educational history, honors and awards, published work if applicable, presentations and lectures, and community service.)
• Submit a copy of your state photo ID or driver’s license
• Submit a brief essay of no more than 500 words total with no more than 100 words describing financial need and no more than 400 words describing professional goals and plans after graduation and how these relate to the Augusta Chapter of UAPRN of GA
• Demonstrate clinical and/or leadership experience as a Registered Nurse or APRN through evidence of the applicant’s submission or through two submitted professional references illustrating experience
