Any write-in candidate must have filed a “consent to serve form” with prior to election whether they are self-nominated or nominated by another member.  Contact bgarvin@augusta.edu if you would like a form.

All positions are 2-year terms except the VP which will be 1 year.

President:     Pam Cromer

                        Current Vice-President

                        Pam Cromer, DNP, RN, APRN-BC is a full Professor and APRN Clinical

                        Coordinator in the Department of Bio- behavioral Nursing at Augusta

                        University’s College of Nursing and Graduate Studies.  She has served as Vice

                        President of the United Advanced Practice Nurses Organization (Augusta) since

                        2016.  An on-site accreditation team member and evaluator for the Commission

                        on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for FNP and DNP programs in

                        Southeast USA, she is also a manuscript review for the Journal of Nurse

                        Practitioners.  In addition, she recently served as an APRN advisor to the

                        Georgia Watch Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to

                        support a project titled “Assessing Health Outcomes in Rural Areas where

                        Nurse Practitioners Provide Primary Care”.  She is a member of the Division of

                        Health Policy of Augusta University’s Institute of Public and Preventive Health

                        Center for Bioethics and Health Policy where she recently presented on the topic

                        of “Vulnerable Populations” during their strategic planning retreat.  She also

                         serves as nursing’s representative and chair on the Augusta University Health

                         Sciences Compliance Steering Committee.   

Vice-Pres:      Nichole Whaley Borchik 

                        Current Secretary

                        Nicole Whaley Borchik DNP AGACNP-BC; I am currently working in 

                        Trauma/Acute Care Surgery at AUMC.  Current research interests include 

                        Management of TBI and PTSD in Trauma Patients.   I have lived in Augusta

                        since 1987; received my BSN from USC Aiken in May 2007 and DNP May 2014.

Secretary:     Stephanie Wright

                       Over 20 years if nursing experience. Specialty. Critical Care, Nephrology and 

                       Nursing Education. Obtained BSN in 2001, MSN/MBA in 2007, DNP in 2013 and 

                       recently completed Post Masters AGACNP program in 2018. She currently works 

                       in Nephrology/Transplant at AUMC.

                        Victoria Burt DNP, APRN, FNP-C has been a NP since 2006.  She works at

                        University Hospital in the Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center and in the 

                       Pulmonary Care Center as well as Augusta University College of Nursing.

Member 3:   Ryan Rogers

                       I am a Float ICU nurse at University Hospital, I have been working for 

                       University for 6 years. I am graduating from Chamberlain University with   

                       a MSN-FNP September 1, 2018.  I am looking forward to being able to sit   

                        for certification in the next few weeks. Prior to working for University

                       I was a geriatric nurse and I have also worked as a Nurse Educator.
