Thanks to Senator Renee Unterman for sharing this article from the Augusta Chronicle about Monday's comittee hearing for the the SR 188 Study Committee, which takes an in-depth look at the physician shortage data. Additionally, it explores how APRNs in Georgia could be an important part of the solution for the access to healthcare crisis across Georgia which is particularly severe in the state's rural areas. Here is a link to the article; please help us share it: http://chronicle.augusta.com/news/2017-10-16/committee-hearing-au-discusses-increasing-healthcare-role-advanced-practice-nurses

In case you didn't see it already, we are asking our APRN community to get involved with this committee--it's really important that our voices be heard! http://bit.ly/SR-18
